Racism and The Gospel

We Are Committed to Racial Justice

The Movement recognizes the ongoing crises of systemic racism and the marginalization of those who are Black and people of color both in America and around the world. As a collective community, we grieve, as God grieves, as racially motivated crimes against humanity continue. We recognize the ongoing issue of racism in America and around the world, and the fatal consequences that result. We pray for a world free of racism and violence.

In a commitment to be a part of the solution, we have determined some actionable steps for The Movement to take. We understand our commitment must be ongoing. We invite you to join us in the fight for racial justice.

Pray

For Jesus to help you search your own heart and reveal needed transformations.
For the healing and safety of Afro-American people and people of color, and all those who are marginalized. For the Church to preach and live out the gospel in truth. For real change in our nation and the world.

Act

We are committed to instituting ongoing training around anti-racism and unconscious bias for our staff, and to creating spaces for our community to have ongoing conversations for growth and change. We invite you to connect with us on Pastor Chat—our staff and team are available for additional resources, support, and prayer.
